Overview
The National Exhibition Centre works with the Ministry’s agencies and the private sector to give export-ready local businesses a platform to show their best to regional and international buyers and investors.
Objectives
- Provide a venue for Ministry events
- Advise the Minister on practical measures to stimulate Guyana’s export trade
- Promote the orderly development of Guyana’s export trade
- Research, training, consultancy, and journals and bulletins on export trade
- Build relationships with national and regional exhibition organisers
Responsibilities
A large, flexible venue for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry, with a range of spaces for organisers to choose from.
A platform for export promotion: events hosted by the Centre showcase Guyanese products and local businesses.
